Silence Breeds Violence

All actions have consequences and the act of keeping silent is no exception.
Keeping silent about social and environmental injustice is a choice you make. Beware.

Silence is not passive.
Silence is not neutral.
Silence is a weapon.

By choosing to keep silent you are wielding a weapon for unhealthy
forces whose agenda is the opposite of love and compassion.

It's pretty common knowledge that big corporations with their own 'news agendas' control over 95% of the Media we rely on for getting 'the facts.'

The same corporations control the 'fact-checkers' that ridicule or brand as conspiracy theory any view that challenges the 'facts' they want us to swallow.

Even that 'pillar of integrity,' the BBC, openly admits in its annual accounts to taking $ millions from Bill Gates and other corporate heavyweights, and simply put, 'he who pays the piper calls the tune', it was ever thus.

Payment of lip service to corporate masters means the Media either distorts the facts or remains silent. We let the Media constantly feed us 'facts' to the point where we become hypnotised and cease to even question the authenticity of these 'facts.'

For example, 38 children were killed in the destruction of a children's hospital in Gaza, which Israel claims was used as a secret Hamas communications centre. The BBC hardly gives this a mention, whereas the tragic loss of a pensioner's home in Kiev after a Russian bombing raid gets headline news status.

Why doesn't the BBC make headline news condemning the loss of so many children's lives at the hands of the Israeli military? Why is the BBC selectively silent on news items?

Because the BBC is paid to keep silent. We, like hypnotised sheep, observe its silence, so we think it's ok for us to remain silent, thereby giving tacit agreement to the killing of innocent children. Such is the hypnotic power of the Media.

When the amazing Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital needs support, every one of us digs deep. But for the children in Gaza, we do nothing. Are they the wrong type of children?
