Falling

£0.99

An introspective and emotionally charged track that explores love, loss, and the painful realisation of missed opportunities. Known for our raw, uncompromising energy, we are stepping into new sonic territory with Falling, blending alternative rock with melodic, heartfelt storytelling.

FRONTMAN PAUL HAYWARD SAYS:

“Love songs don’t come easy to me. This is how ‘Falling’ came about. Have you ever met somebody truly amazing who wanted to share a journey with you, but you couldn’t see how beautiful and special that person’s offer was? You weren’t in a place to connect with it, so you sabotaged it and caused a mountain of hurt. Then, later, when the mist lifts and you finally see clearly, you realize what you’ve lost. But is it too late? Probably.

With shimmering guitars, a steady yet urgent rhythm, and Hayward’s unmistakable vocals carrying both pain and longing, Falling is a striking contrast to The Cides’ more politically charged material. This time, the rebellion is internal – a battle against one’s own past mistakes and the realization that clarity sometimes comes too late. Falling juxtaposes a driving yet melancholic melody with lyrics that speak to anyone who has ever looked back on a past relationship with regret.
